  • Tell me about you and where you came from

Played in Gods Day Off, an original alternative rock band for about 5 years. Went to a recording school in 2003. Worked with Pro Tools LE for about 5 years doing records for local bands and my own band/projects. Got ahold of Live 7 a few years ago. I am just starting to get into electronic production. So much has changed in the past 15 years in music. The old paradigms are gone. It's a really exciting time. I'm 33 years old. Live in Pennsylvania. I just graduated with a bachelors in psychology. I'm producing a few records right now for some friends. I would love to get certified with Ableton.

I am really thankful that I found your site, man. You have put out some outstanding information and been a really big help in learning this stuff. Thank you.

I'm currently working my way thru John Margulies book, "Ableton Live 8 Power", and picking up random info from wherever I can. There are not a lot of other Live users in the area and no scene to speak of.

If you want to see where I am at with Live, I posted a remix on my soundcloud
    (http://soundcloud.com/burchill)

and a music video for an Incubus cover that my brother and I arranged and recorded that uses old Batman footage from the 1960s.
