• Tell me about you and where you came from

  Hey, My name's Erik. I'm an artist from Kentucky. I started improvising on piano as a small kid and continued to develop how to express myself on the piano throughout those great bitter years known as high school. I got into digital imaging and visual design through a yearbook class in high school and ended up pursuing a degree in digital design (motion, graphics, time based media etc). After working for different design firms and agencies on internships, I found myself unhappy with the final products (I wanted to be working on things oriented towards music and sound) so I started pursuing sound design. I'm finishing a masters in Sound Design at the California Institute of the Arts and am currently working on my first 'official?' release; TURBULENCE.
  
  I use Ableton Live for everything from original music and sound design, live theatre and performance, djing, mixing, editing etc. etc. I could go on about how amazing Live is, but you already know that. I hope to continue to learn more about Live, but more importantly, continue to meet people who challenge me creatively and open my eyes and ears a bit wider to the work around me.
