    Sounds like a plug-in compatibility issue. Make sure you have the latest drivers/versions of all your plug-ins loaded for your system. Also as someone else suggested start a new session then add your various plugs one by one to see if any of them throw it. It's also generally a really bad idea to switch computers in mid session, best to finish a project THEN start with a new one as generally new systems need some tweaking before they are usable.

    yeah I know what you mean bro, I have a pair of m-audio studiopro 3 speakers for that exact reason. If my mix sounds good on these tin pot things then there is a good chance that it will sound good on anything.
